When using CloudMe you can be sure that all your data is safely stored in Sweden and therefore protected by the strong Swedish Data Protection Act under the EU Data Protection Directive. This ensures the privacy of your data.

CloudMe AB is a Swedish registered business with all customer data stored in physical servers we bought and own within Sweden. We are not using any third party cloud services for your data.

If you are an EU business, we are happy to sign a Personal Data Assistant Agreement with you in order for your business to comply with the EU Data Protection Directive, please email legal@cloudme.com.

Keep your network updated.

Your social network can follow your shared folders and get push notifications about any changes you make. How do you want to broadcast yourself?

We have a genuinely generous approach to sharing. Anything you share is free for anyone you invite to follow and add to their account, without reducing their available space. This makes CloudMe perfect for setting up a large family or business account to be shared with family and co-workers as a cloud-based file server. Free accounts may connect to and use the storage space shared by a larger paid for account.

Sharing should also be easy, so we removed all different types of sharing and introduced WebShare, one way to share and publish folders with both CloudMe users and users without a CloudMe account. Non CloudMe users may still view the folder as a web page or WebShare as we call them. A WebShare may be followed, and by following a WebShare you add the shared folder to your account and make it accessible on your mobile, tablet or computer. You will also get push notifications if the contents of the shared folder changes.

Push notifications and WebShare allow you to share photos, videos and files in much higher quality than MMS and for free using any WiFi or network connection. Just setup a WebShare with all the people you need to conveniently send stuff, then add content to the folder and they will automatically be notified.

In order for you to continue to use our service and keep your CloudMe account subscription, you need to provide us with the following consents. Failing to provide us with consent before 6 months after the 25th of May 2018 will result in your account being deleted. We will not send out reminders about gaining your consent as this will violate GDPR.

In order to make your CloudMe experience possible, we store and process Personal Data. Read more on what we store here.

I consent that CloudMe stores Personal Data (name, email, username, online identifiers, device identifiers, and billing address if provided)
I consent that CloudMe stores any personal content that I upload, synchronize, or otherwise make available for the service
I consent to receive emails about my CloudMe subscription (under My Account you can configure which emails you'd like to receive)
I consent to that CloudMe use third party services for website statistics; Matomo and Mixpanel, and that our installed clients use Google Fabric for crash analytics (these services do not affect any of your personal data or stored files)
I agree to receive emails with information about the service (newsletters, promotions and campaigns, and the like)
I agree to customized online advertising related to the CloudMe service
