When using CloudMe you can be sure that all your data is safely stored in Sweden and therefore protected by the strong Swedish Data Protection Act under the EU Data Protection Directive. This ensures the privacy of your data.

CloudMe AB is a Swedish registered business with all customer data stored in physical servers we bought and own within Sweden. We are not using any third party cloud services for your data.

If you are an EU business, we are happy to sign a Personal Data Assistant Agreement with you in order for your business to comply with the EU Data Protection Directive, please email legal@cloudme.com.

About Third Parties

CloudMe use third parties only to help us analyse our service, in order to better improve it. We do not share or sell user information for profit.

What do we send to the third party?

Tracking data which we make every attempt to keep anonymous, for example:

page that has been visited
IP number to determine where in the world our users are
button clicks
anonymized user alias to be able to follow a user's path on our site
premium account purchases (what account plan, when it was purchased)

What we don't share

Personal data, for example:

Email address
Name
Billing address

What we third party services do we use?

We use third parties to help us analyse our service. This could be automatic bug report systems as well as analysing services.

Fabrics - helps us track down bugs in our phone apps. Privacy Policy
Matomo - helps us understand routes our users take on our site. Privacy Policy
Mix Panels - helps us understand routes our users take on our site. Privacy Program

We use components running on other servers.

Zoho - lets you view and edit office documents. Privacy Policy

CloudMe can store my name, email and billing address (if you have given us that).
CloudMe can send me emails about my account. I can always change which emails I'd like to receive later.

We use third parties for internal analytics purposes only.

Your privacy is really important to us and we take the protection of all of your data very seriously. To further strengthen your privacy and rights to your data, the European Union, has passed the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation - GDPR).

In order for you to continue to use our service and keep your CloudMe account subscription, you need to provide us with the following consents. Failing to provide us with consent before 6 months after the 25th of May 2018 will result in your account being deleted. We will not send out reminders about gaining your consent as this will violate GDPR.

In order to make your CloudMe experience possible, we store and process Personal Data. Read more on what we store here.

Please accept that we use it for the following processes:

I consent that CloudMe stores Personal Data (name, email, username, online identifiers, device identifiers, and billing address if provided)
I consent that CloudMe stores any personal content that I upload, synchronize, or otherwise make available for the service
I consent to receive emails about my CloudMe subscription (under My Account you can configure which emails you'd like to receive)
I consent to that CloudMe use third party services for website statistics; Matomo and Mixpanel, and that our installed clients use Google Fabric for crash analytics (these services do not affect any of your personal data or stored files)
I agree to receive emails with information about the service (newsletters, promotions and campaigns, and the like)
I agree to customized online advertising related to the CloudMe service
